Acupuncture in Redlands

Acupuncture is a way of balancing the body. It uses thin needles placed at specific points in the body. When these specific points are stimulated, your body’s function improves and begins a self-healing process. An acupuncture session will typically last 45 minutes. The number of treatments will vary among each individual or condition. The best acupuncture is painless despite popular belief. Many patients even report being more relaxed after receiving treatment. Acupuncture is a safe, alternative treatment for pain. It has fewer side effects than medications you may be taking to relieve your pain. Acupuncture stimulates the production of the body’s own painkillers and anti-inflammatories. It also supports the body’s immune system in ways that positively affect heart rate, brain activity, and blood pressure for patients struggling with injuries.

Meet Our Acupuncturist

Salinla Ounsakulseree, L.Ac., MSAOM.

My name is Salinla Ounsakulseree. I am a California board-certified and NCCAOM board-certified licensed acupuncturist. I always dreamed of working in the healthcare services to help others in need. Although Western medicine has a lot of benefits, there are some undeniable flaws since it depends heavily upon pharmaceutical drugs. After college, I became very interested in natural remedies and the Eastern approach towards medicine. I felt inspired with the concepts of natural healing and using natural remedies to heal oneself. As a result, I acquired further studies and received a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with honors from South Baylo University.

I specialize in pain management, including chronic back pain, sciatica, neck pain, knee pain, arthritis, headache, and etc. In addition, I continue to produce successful treatments on stress relief, anxiety, insomnia, digestive issues, and other conditions.

My goal is to utilize the knowledge and extensive practice to help guide others towards a better health and lifestyle with Acupuncture.

What does a typical session look like?
A typical session begins after your initial visit to assess your health condition and goals. Before you start any treatment plan, it is important to know the benefits and risks to make sure it is the right choice for you. Chiropractic Sports & Injury Center will place the sterile needles in specific points of the body. The needles will be left for a short period of time. This allows the body a chance to balance and start healing itself. The needles will then be removed. You are free to return to normal daily activities following your acupuncture treatment session. It is recommended to drink plenty of water to help in the detoxifying process.
